MCForever Server Rules
These rules MUST be followed strictly. Violations can lead to removal from the whitelist. Our goal is a long-lasting world, so play responsibly!
Basic Rules
- No griefing, vandalism, or destroying other players' builds without permission.
- No stealing from other players' chests, farms, or bases.
- No cheating, hacks, x-ray, duping, or exploiting bugs.
- Be respectful: No harassment, racism, sexism, or toxic behavior in chat.
- No spamming, advertising other servers, or flooding chat.
- Follow staff instructions at all times.
- Obey Minecraft's EULA—no pay-to-win or illegal activities.
Train and Track Rules
- No floating tracks. If you're building trains, you MUST build bridges or modify the terrain to support them—no hovering in air.
- Your train CANNOT be wider than 3 blocks.
- For main community tracks, you MUST use standard wheels and tracks. We will NOT use larger tracks/wheels on main lines.
- If you want larger trains (e.g., freight), build your own separate lines. They CANNOT enter main train stations.
- Alternatively, we can add a 3rd line next to the main tracks for larger trains (e.g., 2 lines for standard left-hand drive, and 1 one-way line for larger ones). Larger trains would have to go the whole way around without a return track.
Performance Rules
- Avoid building anything that could tank server performance.
- If using the Create mod, build for efficiency and keep things as small as possible while meeting your needs.
- For automated systems, use necessary setups to power them down automatically (e.g., threshold switches) when resources reach a set amount.
- If you MUST build big stuff and can't add threshold switches, include an on/off switch. Leave it running initially to test how the server handles it.
World Safety Rules
- Try not to build stuff that could bring harm to the world (e.g., nukes).
- At least, don't use them—keep the world intact for eternity!
